About NTOC

The National Transportation Operations Coalition (NTOC) serves as an important foundation for institutionalizing management and operations into the transportation industry. This alliance of national associations, practitioners and private sector groups represent the collective interests of stakeholders at state, local and regional levels who have a wide range of experience in operations, planning and public safety.

To improve management and operation of the nation's existing transportation system so that its performance will exceed customer expectations. Read more.
NTOC is made up of 7 action teams and one subcommittee. The action teams are as follows:
- Making the Business Case
- Performance Measures
- Operations and Planning
- Traffic Signals
- Outreach to Non-elected Officials
- Developing Transportation Operations Professionals
- Small Urban/Rural
National Associations Working Group (NAWG)
The NAWG is the formal committee for outreach and communications under the
NTOC umbrella, serving to inform and educate about ITS and Transportation
Management and Operations.
